Optevia is dedicated to building CRM solutions based on the cloud and public-sector, IBM will use to boost your business in this area.
IBM has made an interesting acquisition to grow your business cloud services for governments and other public sector organizations. It is Optevia, a consultancy based in UK that specializes in management solutions customer relations (CRM).
More specifically, Optevia offers a cloud-based CRM, provided as software as a service (SaaS), and even more specifically, implementations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for public sector organizations.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but according to TechCrunch, Optevia will become a part of the Global Business Services division of IBM. In addition to relying on Optevia to boost your business with the public sector in the UK, IBM also plans to expand the software market Optevia, which so far only focused on the British market worldwide.
“With the acquisition of Optevia, IBM will be able to provide public sector customers a unique variety-based CRM and industry-focused solutions. This strategic acquisition will help strengthen IBM as a supplier of SaaS and Global Software Integrator, “said Joanna Davidson, head of Public Sector IBM Europe.
The interest of the US corporation to capture and acquire talent to build cloud-based CRM solutions, specifically with the public sector is part of the evolution of the company. Last year, IBM announced a series of partnerships with third-party suppliers to provide more government services in the cloud. It is notable that IBM is now making acquisitions in that field.
