Microsoft launched a free preview of Power Embedded BI
The second day of Microsoft Build 2016 has left us with the announcement of a new version of service cloud business intelligence BI Power. This new version, called Power Embedded BI has the peculiarity that can be included within other applications.
The public preview of Power Embedded BI will be free and will be available from today until May 1, announced Lara Rubbelke, chief engineer Embedded Power BI.
The data visualization tool allows in-app, support for BI custom graphics and a more transparent experience for customers. It is compatible with graphics and tables, as well as customer service, according to Venture Beat.
Power BI emerged 10 years ago and was relaunched as freemium software in early 2015. With Power BI Embedded, Microsoft has its own integrated product, like other software companies business intelligence, as birst, Pentaho and Tableau. In addition, its launch is a step forward for BI Power Wave in competition with Salesforce Analytics Cloud.
“You can use it without the need for users to buy it or even without being aware of what is Power BI,” said Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of Cloud and Enterprise Microsoft, at the conference. Microsoft believes the cloud will be the best way to help companies to facilitate their relationship with customers and is investing in the platform include all its own services, such as Azure and Office 365.
